Dr. Abraham Yuen received his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Waterloo and has been serving patients in the GTA since 2017. He has a keen interest in managing ocular diseases such as glaucoma, dry eye disease, keratoconus and macular degeneration. In addition, he provides specialty services such as advanced dry eye treatments, low vision rehabilitation, myopia control and scleral lens fittings. Dr. Yuen serves on the Council of the College of Optometrists of Ontario to ensure patients are receiving the best clinical care across the province. He is a subject matter expert on the National Board of Examiners in Optometry (NBEO) and helped design a new licensing board exam for new graduates entering the profession.

Dr. Yuen was a past recipient of the President’s Award from the Ontario Association of Optometrists (OAO) – in recognition of his contributions to the profession. He also helped establish the national guideline for low vision care, published in the Canadian Journal of Optometry (CJO) in 2020.
Dr Yuen believes in giving back to the community by volunteering in inner city outreach such as Homeless Connect Toronto, Out of the Cold and the Special Olympics. He enjoys educating the public about their eye health and has held many seminars in libraries, nursing homes, community centres, and churches.
Outside of the clinic, he is an avid supporter of the Toronto Blue Jays, and enjoys road trips, hiking and photography in his spare time.
